Description
Ginger root has been praised for its health benefits for millennia.
Common ginger is a perennial herb belonging to the Zingiberaceae family, with its natural distribution in South Asia. Common ginger is cultivated in China, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Australia, West Africa, and Jamaica, primarily as a spice and medicinal plant. Ginger has been valued since ancient times, notably by the influential Chinese scholar and philosopher Confucius. With its bright green leaves and intriguing inflorescences, it also grows as a beautiful houseplant in northern regions. The wonderful rhizome of ginger is primarily used for food and drink. To balance the sharp and slightly bitter taste of ginger, we have chosen our own Estonian wild herb – peppermint, which is strong-tasting, sweet, and has a cooling effect. The flavor characteristics of Rüübe flavored vodka, produced from 100% organic ingredients, are best enjoyed at room temperature.
